Anschliessend lagerte das Destillat fr 30 Monate in Stahlkannen. Der Nicoter Apfel hat seinen Ursprung in den Sorten Gala und Braeburn. Gezchtet wurde der Nicoter von der Universitt Leuven und der Baumschule Jo Nicola. Die Sorte Nicoter hnelt im Aussehen der Muttersorte Gala, ist aber saurer, etwas grer und saftiger als diese.
