15ct Victorian Opal and Dimond Starburst broochA striking opal and diamond bar brooch c. 1880. Stamped and tested as 15ct gold. The natural opal surrounded by a stylised diamond encrusted halo with a further two old cut diamonds at each end of the brooch. 3. 4cm in length. The central cluster is 1. 7cm x 1. 8cm Nice clean condition. The opal has a nice colour play. There is a natural inclusion line across the centre of the opal but its not surface reaching.
